How billing works on Axon

All new Axon accounts are on prepay; select accounts may be eligible for postpay.

Prepay

Payment (Pay-as-You-Go Billing Model)

Before your campaigns can start running, you must add a credit/debit card. Your card is charged (or your balance deducted) daily based on ad spend. You receive daily receipts to your email as well as a monthly total invoice.

How to Get Started

  1. Log in to Ads Manager.
  2. Click your account name in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Payment & billing from the dropdown.
  4. Add your credit or debit card information.

Billing System

There is a daily 0:00 UTC charge for your next day’s budget, minus any amounts available in your Balance. This is held as a temporary budget deposit.

If you increase budget throughout the day or activate new campaigns, there are additional credit card charges for those amounts.

After the end of the UTC day, the system checks your actual spend for the day against the temporary budget deposit plus any additional budget increase charges. If there are unused funds, those are added to your balance at around 03:00 UTC.

Example: $10,000 daily budget across campaigns

  • $10,000 credit card charge at 0:00 UTC
  • Budget increases by $1,000 to $11,000 at 05:00 UTC — $1,000 credit card charge
  • Campaign spends $10,900
  • At 03:00 UTC, $100 is transferred to the balance for the next day’s use

Invoices and Receipts

You receive a monthly invoice that details your spend as well as your credit or debit card payments. The invoice is sent to the billing email that you input when you established your account.

The account owner email also receives daily credit card receipts for each charge. You can unsubscribe from these emails in the Payment & Billing section of the Ads Manager.
