Shopify integration

Follow these instructions to integrate Shopify with AppLovin Ads:

Install the Shopify app

Install the AppLovin Shopify app from the Shopify App Store:

If you already have an AppLovin Ads Manager account, you can instead use the AppLovin Ads Manager to install the AppLovin Shopify app. See Installing the Shopify App with the AppLovin ads manager below for details.

  1. Search for “Axon” in the Shopify App Store. Click Axon in the search results.

  2. The Shopify App Store page for the Axon app appears. Click Install to install the Axon app.

Complete the integration

After the Shopify app installs, follow the instructions in the app to complete the integration:

If you are a Shopify advertiser who runs in headless mode, theme extension may not be available to you. In that case, skip the next three steps and, instead, click Continue without theme extension and then continue with step 4 below.

Getting Started: Enable Theme Extension. To get started, you need to enable the Axon theme extension to attribute orders to your ads. How to enable: 1. Click the button below to open the theme editor. 2. Click “Save” in the top right corner. 3. Click “Continue” below when finished. Enable Theme Extension button. Continue button.   1. Click Enable Theme Extension.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Click Continue.

  4. Click Connect now.

  5. Select your account, then click Connect.

    Connect to Shopify. Do you want to connect AXON to Shopify? By integrating Shopify, your name, email, and preferences may be shared. Learn more button. Your account name. Log out. Connect to: Your account name. Connect button.

  6. Your integration is now complete.

    Shopify is now connected. You can go back to Shopify and close this tab. Go to ads manager button.

Installing the Shopify app with the AppLovin Ads Manager

If you already installed the AppLovin Shopify app by means of the Shopify App Store (as described above), you do not need to do anything described in this section.

If you already have an AppLovin Ads Manager account, you can use the AppLovin Ads Manager to install the AppLovin Shopify app, rather than using the Shopify App Store.

  1. Log in to AppLovin Ads Manager.

  2. Click your account name in the top bar of the page. In the account drop-down menu that appears, select Third Party Integration.

  3. The Connect Shopify page appears. Click Go to Shopify App Store to begin installing the app.

    Connect Shopify: Integrate with your Shopify Store to sync your products and improve your ads performance. Shopify account (App not installed). Go to Shopify App Store button. Did you install the app? Check the sync status to update the integration. Sync Status button.
